How do I place an order for a custom lighting fixture?

  • You can use our contact form to inquire about custom lighting. Please include as many details as possible—such as the fixture you’d like to use as a starting point, the desired finishes, overall scale, and installation location.

  • If you’re still figuring things out, that’s okay. Our design team is here to help you through the process and create a fixture that fits your space. Explore some of our favorite compositions for inspiration.

How do I buy replacement lightbulbs?

  • Most of our fixtures use standard bulbs available through most lighting suppliers or well-stocked hardware stores. The bulb type and specs are listed in the Technical Specs section on each product page.

When will my online order ship?

  • Most of our pieces are handmade to order. Standard lead times are:

    • Lighting: 2–4 weeks

    • Glassware: 1 week

    • In-stock items: Usually ship the next business day

    If your order will take longer than expected, we’ll notify you promptly.

  • Need something sooner? Contact us before placing your order and we will do our best to accommodate.

Return & Exchange Policy

  • Because of the handmade nature of our work, we do not offer refunds. However, if your order arrives damaged or defective, we’ll work with you to make it right.

    • Contact us within 5 days of delivery if there is an issue

    • Photos of the damage are required to file a claim and arrange a replacement or exchange

    • Reasonable variations in size, finish, and detail are expected and are not considered defects

How do I clean and care for my light fixture?

  • PATINATED BRASS

    • All brass patinas are unlacquered and hand-sealed with a light layer of wax. Dust gently with a duster or soft rag. Do not use brass cleaners as they will remove the patina.

  • RAW BRASS

    • Raw brass fixtures are unlacquered and will develop a natural patina over time. The original shine can be restored using brass polish and a clean, soft rag.

  • GLASS

    • For clear glass, wipe gently with a mild glass cleaner. For frosted or etched glass, dust gently with a duster or soft rag. Do not scrub frosted glass or place any glass components in the dishwasher.

How do I clean and care for my glassware?

  • CLEAR AND COLORED GLASS

    • Hand wash with mild soap and water. Never put our hand-blown glassware in the dishwasher.

  • 23K GOLD

    • For pieces that have been embellished with gold luster, extra care must be taken to ensure the longevity and continued brilliance of your glassware.

      Hand wash with mild soap and water avoiding abrasive cleaning tools.

      Never put our hand blown glassware in the dishwasher.

Do you offer a warranty for your lighting?

  • Yes. We stand by the quality of our work. Neptune Glassworks warrants all products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship, from the date of shipment, as follows:

    • Electrical Components: Lifetime

    • Finish: 10 years

  • OUTDOOR LIGHTING FIXTURES:

    • Electrical Components: 10 years

    • Finish: 2 years
