In-house Brass Finishes

Brass forms the foundation of most of our work—chosen for its strength, warmth, and resistance to time. Through custom patinas, we reveal a spectrum of tones that respond to both light and touch. Our standard surface finish is satin—refined, understated, and timeless.

Our raw brass finish is pure, unsealed brass with a satiny surface. This finish will start as bright, warm and shiny, and age beautifully to a rich chocolatey brown with complex warm tones. Valued for centuries for its natural ability to hold up to the toughest conditions, brass has been the natural choice of makers who expect their work to last for generations.

Our aged brass finish offers the timeless look of old brass fixtures without waiting for time to do its work. Developed through custom patination and sealed with natural wax, it carries warmth and depth from the start. The surface reflects light with a soft, restrained glow. It is a refined choice for spaces that favor permanence, character, and quiet richness.

Our blackened brass finish is a rich chocolaty-brown with warm overtones. This finish is sealed with a natural wax that creates a gorgeous velvety surface. Ideal for both moody spaces where the fixture can recede into the background and well-lit spaces—where generous amounts of ambient light will play on the surface and take advantage of the light-scattering wax surface.

Our pewter finish starts as raw brass and therefore retains a hint of warmth that can emerge in well-lit spaces where generous amounts of ambient light are available. This complex finish is a wonderful play of cool overtones and warm undertones which will undergo subtle shifts depending on the light hitting it. Sealed with a natural wax, the pewter finish has a gorgeous velvety surface.

Glass Colorways

Glass forms the luminous core of many of our fixtures, shaping light through layering, opacity, and controlled translucency. Some tones glow evenly; others reveal subtle depth and movement. Our standard white is a soft opal—refined and timeless.

Our Opal White is a soft, luminous glass that diffuses light evenly and quietly. It conceals the source while allowing illumination to glow with warmth and clarity. Balanced and refined, it anchors many of our compositions and creates a calm, enduring presence within a space.

Transparent Bronze introduces warmth and depth without obscuring light. Its subtle amber tint enriches illumination while revealing the inner structure beneath. Refined and atmospheric, it shifts gently from daylight to evening glow, deepening as light intensifies.

Black over Opal White layers depth over a luminous core. A transparent black exterior tempers the opal interior, creating a gradient that darkens at the edge and lightens toward the center. When illuminated, the interior glow emerges through the smoky surface.

Olive over White introduces a grounded, natural hue while preserving a luminous interior. The transparent olive layer softens the opal core, creating contrast between cool depth and warm glow. Under illumination, the color reveals subtle tonal movement.

Golden Spruce carries a warm, resinous tone with subtle depth. Its translucent amber body enriches light with a soft, honeyed glow while maintaining clarity and presence. Under illumination, the color deepens gently without becoming heavy.

White over Sky Blue pairs a luminous opal interior with a cool, atmospheric exterior. The layered construction softens the blue, allowing light to emerge with a balanced glow. When lit, the interior radiance gently brightens the outer tone.

Iris Orange introduces a warm, citrus-inflected hue with quiet vibrancy. Its opacity tempers the color, allowing light to diffuse evenly while maintaining richness and depth. The result is a tone that feels energetic yet composed.

Light Blue offers a clear, airy tone that cools and clarifies illumination. Its translucent body allows light to pass through with softness, creating a calm and open presence. Subtle shifts in intensity emerge as the light source brightens.

Rich Grey over Dark Blue layers depth and saturation in a bold yet controlled composition. The darker interior anchors the tone, while the grey outer layer tempers its intensity. When illuminated, subtle shifts emerge between cool shadow and luminous blue.

Dove Grey offers a soft, neutral presence with quiet depth. Its translucent body allows light to pass through gently, creating a calm, evenly diffused glow. Under illumination, the grey reveals nuanced tonal movement rather than flat color.

White over Bristol Green pairs a luminous opal exterior with a vibrant green interior. The layering softens the saturation, allowing the color to feel grounded and composed. When lit, the interior glow subtly brightens the green core.

White over Eel Green introduces a deeper, muted green beneath a soft opal surface. The layered construction balances richness with restraint, creating a tone that feels organic and refined. Light reveals quiet depth within the green interior.
